Chatmeter accounts are the logical containers for users, locations, and groups managed through Chatmeter. Depending on the size and structure of your business, you may have one or more accounts. In this article, you’ll learn how to use the Accounts settings in LocationHQ to add, edit, or remove your business accounts.
In most cases, your accounts will have been set up for you by the Chatmeter team during the onboarding process. If you need to make changes to the accounts, you need a user role with three permissions:
- Account Management
- Add Account
- Delete an Account.
For information about roles and permissions settings, see Managing LocationHQ Roles (User Types).
You can see a list of your business accounts on the Accounts page in Settings (cog icon) > Accounts. In this example, the business locations are divided into two accounts, one each for domestic and international locations.
