Viewing Google post details
To find post details, follow these steps:
- On the Feed page (Social > Feed), select or filter to the post you want to engage with.
- Select a post to display its Post Details page.

The Post Details page for a Google post includes:
- Username of the user who posted
- Business location
- Full text of the post
- Post media—image or video
- Summary of engagement—number of comments, likes, link to workflow tasks, link to Google Ask a question page, and sentiment (positive, negative, or neutral
The Answers section of the Post Details page includes:
- Text of replies or comments in the order they were posted
- The name of the person responding
- Icons to use to like, link to a workflow task, and a link to go to the business Ask a question page
- Sentiment of the comment
Answering a customer’s Google post
To reply to a customer’s Google post, follow these steps:
- On the Feed page (Social > Feed), select or filter to the post you want to engage with.
- Select a post to display its Post Details page.
- By default, the Replies tab is open. If it isn’t, select it.
- Find the response or comment you want to reply to in the activity stream.
- Select it to display the Post Details page.
- Type your answer in the Write a new Answer field. If you have more than one account associated with the Google Business Profile, you can select which one you want to respond from.
- Select Submit. Your answer appears below the previously posted response.
- Your response appears as a reply to the post response you selected from the activity stream, within the yellow box.
