To simplify and encourage consistency in responding to reviews, you can set up response templates for responding to reviews through LocationHQ.
Chatmeter Admin users or those who have had access enabled to create templates can perform the job of setting up templates.
Follow these steps to create a review response template:
- Login to your Chatmeter account in LocationHQ.
- On the Reputation > Reviews page, select the cog icon to display the Manage Review Response Templates dialog box.
- Select + Add New Template to display the Add Review Response Template dialog box.

- Enter the information required in the dialog box. All fields are required:

- Name—An easily recognized name for the template
- Review Sentiment Type—Whether the response is intended for a Positive, Neutral, or Negative review
- Template Body—Type the text you want to appear in the response, including the merge codes you’d like used. Merge codes are identifiers for specific information to include in the template:
- Customer full name
- Customer first name
- Business name
- Business phone number

- Enter the information required in the dialog box. All fields are required:
- Select Save. Now when a user chooses Select Template to respond to a review, 5-star thank you will be one of the selections.
