There are 2 types of reports found on the rankings tab: Average Rankings and Page 1 Rankings. Both have sub-tabs for Local or Web/Organic searches
- Local search allows users to submit searches based on geographic location like "city, state" or "community name" across Bing, Yahoo, Google, Yelp, or Yellowpages sites. Web/Organic Search shows you search results for each location's website when each keyword is searched for on Google.com, bing.com, and Yahoo.com (or .ca for Canadian sites)*. *If your platform does not use Yahoo, Bing, or Yellow pages, they will not be used for search results. For example, if you’re a pizza vendor with locations all over North America, when someone is searching for the keyword search phrase “Pizza Near Me” in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada, does your location pull up 1st, 8th, or 42nd on those top providers?
- Web/Organic Searches are comprised of scanning the web for where your website appears in search based on what was provided by your team in the 'Edit Location' screen (My Account > Manage Locations & Competitors > Edit Location) as “expected information”.
The Average Rankings report shows the average ranking for the keywords you have selected for your store(s) and the average rank they are found within the search.
On each sub-tab, you can drill down to show you which locations have those keywords and where they rank by clicking on the number beneath the provider. (Keywords can be updated in the 'Edit Location' screen on the platform > scroll to the bottom of page > add up to 15 total keywords > save changes).
