All-time totals will not change since that is a fixed date range. The selected date counts changes to show how many new followers and how many total posts were found during that date range. If you enter in a search term (keyword, user mention, or hashtag) the total post count will update to reflect how many results were found for your search. Post counts include posts and comments (replies to posts).
